I'm so addicted with Nur Kasih shows on Sensasi Channel.. Once a week & it's on every Friday nights, I would say "do not disturb" to hubby.. Can't wait for every episodes to telecast which contains 26 episode in total.... And the best part is, Sensasi telecast it same day with Malaysia TV3 *but only different timing like an hour*... So we got "fresh on the oven" too huuurr!! And not forgetting, Remy Ishak... So charming & handsome hunk... hehehe.. This guy is improving & look much more better than other tv shows that he ever appeared....

I know it's a long awaiting post.. I just have to believe that i'm 29 oredy!! Yes old oredy, Alhamdulillah.. Wanted to share my birthday experiences which i had a sinful meals with my family & friends.. Together to celebrate my birthday is my only sister, Acie.. Our birth date is a day apart & we called it 'lump sum' celebrations.. We tried Sedap Corner at Simpang Bedok.. Foods was not bad, majority are set meals & it's worth it.. You can catch Chef Bob linger in that cafe serving his guests.. Prices are reasonables & staffs are efficients..

Birthday girls with Chef Bob (Chef Skooter).. I don't know why my niece was afraid of him.. She yelled when Chef Bob came nearer to her.. Our Chef here is a big fans of kids...
Ohhhh!! Since my birthday this year falls on Easter Egg (Good Friday), i bake my very own cupcakes & sincerely for Chef Bob & team.. They were overjoyed & thanked us umpteen times..
Next day, after work, hubby fetch me back home from work & we headed to Orchard Road.. We had my all time favorite restaurant, Anatolia owns by my colig's husband..

A must try Iskander.. It's comes with chicken & beef.. But i prefer it to be beef coz it's taste better.. It's such a filling & can last u for a day meal.. Iskander is serve with a turkish bread as the base & topped it with the natural yogurt..

Anatolia's bread is o ne of my favorite too.. It's goes well with any dishes like ur curry or 'sambal'..

We were given a BIG treat from Aboy.. It's his 28th Birthday!! Had our yummylicious dinner at new Halal Charcos.. This 'kenny rogers style roasted chicken' is located at Ang Mo Kio eeeerrr coffeeshop. Well it's Aboy's last birthday celebration before he ends his bachelor-hood somewhere this year...*nyummmm* Too bad momok can't join due to his work..

Hmmmpp, as far as i concern, it's had been loooonnnngg donkey years since my last visit to the Pameran Pengantin.. We were actually do some survey for aboy's big day at the expo. We were there on the Friday which myself, my mum, Suhana & her mum & of coz' not forgetting the 'mak nenek' Inshirah...

Both mummies were busy surveying caterings, while me & Su were busy looking around the 'mak andams' & photographers.. Well, let me inform u people, "I'm Glad to get married 8 years back!!" *lol*... Yes, i do!! Things are getting expensive no doubt with all up-to-date wedding preparations... I do love it sometimes! But i can see from the phamplets being given, they are providing quite comprehensive packages in any services..

Ermmmmmpppp, i've received a sms from a fren of mine & she said she saw someone familiar in the Pameran Pengantin.. Anyway, if u guys out there need a budget photographer for ur wedding day, perhaps u can call me for appointments...click here

It's 2 weeks over after New Year.. Families gathered at mum's place to welcome her back after her 1 month away from home.. Mum brought back all nice goodies from Mecca for families & frenz... Glorious foods from all aunties.. Thank u..

Inshirah always there if there's a cake.. She loves cake-cutting ceremony... :-p And Inshirah always try to get Ah-Joe's attentions..hehehe

Aunties & cousins whom help mum to look after Inshirah while we are all at work & mum at Haj.. From Singapore till Terengganu, Inshirah is being taken good care.. BIG thank u..!!

Bali - Day 3

It's 3rd day & we called it a final day..*eeerkkk* Time flies & i still remembered when Momok insisted of travelling to Bali. As for now, my Momok is kind of addicted to this Paradise island.. He buggued me to make a come back to this island as he wanted to buy the surf board for souvenirs *siooowww*..

We woke-up late for breakfast coz' we had a long day before our flight that was on 12 midnight.. So we had a complete full day to do some more shoppings..!! But before the shoppings began, we dipped in ourselves in the cooling swimming pools.. It's heavely earth.. Ohh ya, we did our massages which we can't took any photography in the parlour..

i really wanted to grab these wind chijme for my maternal aunties but unfortunately, it's really expensive.. One of those cost nearly SGD$20.00... Cutting my throat, man.. I guess thay know that we are foreigners that's why they 'ketok' us.. Even after bargaining, it's cost me a $15.00..

Momok even bargain till SGD$5.00 each but they chased us out from the shop, really!! The beads shop!! Sighhh thinking to get some beads accessories for my 'lil cousins back in S'pore but i guess, it's rather expensive. The normal beads necklace (below) can cost me around SGD$13.00.. "Wowww i thought they were saying it's cheap in Bali.. Hmmmpp i still think that S'pore has a good bargain & now the Island Shop is having great bargain. The accessories which starts from $2.00 & it's lovely..

Anyway, me & Momok shop for our home instead.. We bought lots of painting which we wanna make our home like Bali concept.. Candles & scents to make us feel the resorts moods.. In the evening around 6.00pm, we went to Kuta beach to witness the sunset & moon rise.. It's wonderful but slightly cloudy when we were there...

and let me remind u people out there.. we in S'pore are soooo damn lucky with our air-con transports, comfortable seats & clean environment... This is their fedeal service which brings them back to their kampung... We were shocked when we saw this & all the while we thought it's only happens in the tv..

Anyway we hate goodbyes.. It's nearly 7.00pm & we are going back to our room for a quick rest, wash-up & ready to the airport after our Isyak prayer.. The driver will pick us up at 9.30pm & of course we will make a come back soon!.. We safely reached S'pore around 3.00am (S'pore time). Alhamdulillah, we enjoyed every single moment in Bali...

Evil Eye...

3 years ago, when i started to join this new company, i was addicted to the Evil Eye.. All thanks to my dearest colleague, Juliana whom marries her Turkish husband. Since I was too in to this Evil Eye, Juliana bought for me loads of it.. From fridge magnets to flower vase. The Evil Eye which i placed it infront of my main door, my room, living room, kitchen & even my brother's car. I even decorated my sister's room with Evil Eyes. This amulet against evil eye is very typical in Turkey. The Turkish name for this amulet that protects one from the evil eye is nazar boncuk.

But what is behind this turkish superstition? Once upon a time ... there was a rock by the sea that even with the force of a hundred men and a lot of dynamite couldn't be moved or cracked. There was also a man in this town by the sea, who was known to carry the evil eye (Nazar). After much effort and endeavor, the town people brought the man to the rock, and the man, upon looking at the rock said, "My God ! What a big rock !" The instant he said it, there was a rip, roar and crack, and instantly the immense and impossible rock was found to be cracked in two.

As for my colleague, Juliana, she placed the Evil Eye at her baby's cradle to protect the Evil of distubing her baby..heheheee.. We can get this Evil Eye at Turkey where it's can be make as a bracelet, keychains, chain, brooches, hairclips & any accessories...

Bali - Day 2

Second day which we wake-up very early. We can't wait to explore the 'paradise' island. We've booked our full-day land tour at those road-side counter which cost us RP500,000 (SGD$75). The tour consists the places are most tourist went & the we learnt some of their history. Now let's the picture do the talking..

Bali - Day 1

It's been more than a month i left Bali for my unplanned quick getaway with my dear Momok. Fortunately, we were so damn bloody lucky to get confirmation flight from our travel agent at the Chinatown 2 days before our departure date. Our flight was schduled as early as 6.00am & i'm stay awake till 3.00am doing packing & surf the net. By 3.30am, i wake Momok to get ready & off we went to the Changi Airport. Had our prata sausage *HALAL* for quick bites breakfast & i dozzed off onboard.. I have a good 2 hours sleep in flight.. Lion Air leads our way to Bali..

Upon our arrival at Denpasar Airport, we were greeted by our hotel chauffer to bring us to our hotel.. Hard Rock Hotel & Resort was our choice for our next 3 nights. It's took us approxiamtely 10 mins from the airport to our hotel..

We were given a room which are privacy. Luckily our room was far away from the center stage where the live band tookplace every nights.. Ahhhhhh, we love the room. We didn't expect much from the room but ithe moment we open the door, i shouted "WOWW!!"..

Still in the morning when we reached the hotel, we managed to nap for 1 hour before we made our way to explore the hotel.. Wonderful hotel with wonderful scenery.. Weather there kind of hot & humid. Need lots of sunblock!! The swimming pools really make me more excited & i can't wait to dip in & tanned myself. Along the pools (picture below), we can find the Cabanas.

If u can't stand the hot sun, u can rent it for RP140,000 (SGD$18) whole day. Each Cabana, u can enjoy 2 beach beds(for massage), small dressing table & a small place for u to hang ur clothes.. Pretty aren't they!! :-)

It's nearly 11.00am & we felt hungry. It's time for us to seach for nice food & do some sight seeing.. Kuta is the place & it's walking distant from our hotel. The Matahari which we shop like crazy especially those scents & candles. Bikini there are pretty cheap & unfortunately i can't fit any of them *LOL*.. There is a new tourism object in Kuta built in the center of this place called Bali Bomb Monument to commemorate the Bali Bomb Tragedy on 12 October 2002. Bomb which burst at Sari Club and also Paddy'S club have killed 202 people.

The picture (above) was the exactly the location of the Sari Club & Paddy's Club. According to the locals, the government are not going to re-built any clubs as they have to respect the the locations. They believe that the parts & pieces of human meats & bones are still at the locations as the club exploded without warnings.

As we walk nearer to the locations, we can feel the sadness. Photos & love notes were place at the locations by their family, friends & love ones.. I almost shed my tears.. It's sad. Some were twin sisters & brothers. Majority were Australian & Balinese were mainly their workers in that clubs..

For dinner, we had a good meaty BIG Mac. Tasty meat i can say.. Stuff with thick beef & green salad comes together with the set meal cost me less than SGD$5.00.. Worth it!!! Ohhh yess we have enjoy our 1st time ever clubbing at Hard Rock Hotel. Hard Rok Hotel, i can say it's quite safe coz' they have tight security petroling around the hotel, resorts & the clubs itself..

Mum's Haj..

It's been a week mum @ Mecca.. Alhamdulillah, from her call, she's doing fine & will celebrate Aidil'adha in Menna.. Last Sunday, airport filled with more than 20,000 muslims community sending their love ones to perform Haj. Mum goes there alone & thanked to Allah she managed to share a room with her ex-classmates..

To all families & friends, I would like to thank all the contributions & support towards my mum.. To whoever reads this, Norizah A.Samad send warmest regards to all families & friends.. Wassalam..

Oh yes, my brother, Khairi (Aboy) is engaged with Suhana Suhaimi.. No doubt, it's a last minute event but Alhamdulillah all went smoothly fine.. Anyway, if u think it's 'unplanned' ceremony, YOU are wrong!!! Mum is a super-duper wonder woman coz' in a split second she creates her wonder with her magic wand.. We don't need to hire people to create our 'gubahans' or spent hundreds of dollars just to be boastful.. And i think it's a WASTE to do that for an engagement!! People out there always have a negative thinking about my family or maybe they are being jealous!!

Anyway both sides prefer simple yet joyous ceremony..

Hokay, forget about those sick people & let's enjoy Aboy's engagement pictures...

Anyway Syawal is just around the corner & Ramadhan leaving us soon.. *sob sob*.. Hubby has been bugging to paint the house since last year & this year i fulfill his wish..

As for today, i'm free.. I just wanna cleaning up my pc. Lots of data storage & make the pc in slow mood when surfing the net.. I was in tears when i saw last year raya fotos.. It's make me really sad coz that was our last raya with nyai & bik oye..

They left us early of this year & still now, i can feel they are around me.. So, will it be ur last 'salam' to ur love ones or (even the HATE ones).. Al-Fatehah to my dearest nyai, yayi, wak & bik oye.. Missing u all always...

Yesterday, i break my fast at my mum's place.. Together with me were acie & 'lil inshirah. As usual inshirah is the 'mak nenek' & wanna help me to dine the table while waiting for azan maghrib. While we were peacefully having our meals, suddenly inshirah shouted "nyai weewee i miss u". Later, mum said "if u don't finish up your meal, nyai weewee don't love you"..

After our overloaded meals, acie made her way back home but inshirah insisted to stay at my mum's place.. inshirah hugs her ibu & said "i love u, ibu"... While mum perform her solat & me sitting in living room watching Seputeh Qaseh Ramadan, inshirah shouted again "nyai weewee, where are u? i can see u".. me puzzled.. inshirah said "mummy, nyai weewee coming outside"..

SubhanAllah, this girl can see & i believe it's no joke.. i was stationery in the living room & i can sense someone is outside the corridoor.. i ask her again, "nyai weewee, cantik?".. she said "yes".
i recite Al-Fatehah for her & i feel normal after that.. after mum perform her prayer, it's my turn for solat & again Al-Fatehah is greatest gift for bik oye, my late wak, late nyai & late yayi..

Maybe it's true what has ustaz & ustazah mention thru their syarahan, "bulan suci, bulan Ramadan, roh-roh arwahan 'pulang' melihat keluarga2 nyer"..

Until now, mum didn't know inshirah saw 'someone' outside..

Seven September Two Thousands & Eight.

We wanted to check it out this newly open cafe.. Located near to Arab Street along Sultan Mosque, me & hubby decided to break fast at the Zac Cafe on 7th Sept to celebrate our 7th Wedding Anniversary.. To avoid raining, we reached there at about 6.00pm, 'mark' our attendance & swing to Bugis Junction for window-shop since it's still early.. Love the mediterranean atmosphere & of coz' countless of middle east dishes..

Love the patty meats, chix bbq & the fresh salad... The buffet with NETT price worth $15 for each pax... NO GST, NO SERVICE TAXES & NO HIDDEN COST.. So we've paid $30 for 2 pax.. cheap & good quality foods.. As usual, we were given complimentary of dates & refillable icy cold sky juice.. We were sooo addicted with the prawn fritters... It's hot & if were to dip in chillie sauce, it's tastes perfect.. Hubby ate that over & over... I just love the beef kofte & hot plain naan..that's my meal & i'm craving it again... *slurrrp*Hubby can't stop eating these delicious creatures & i HAVE to stop him *hi-colesterol ok*.. Meet PIL in Geylang after solat terawih & make my so called virgin trip to 2008 Bazaar Geylang.. But this time round i hate the bazaar.. It's look rather than 'pasar malam' instead of grand bazaar.. Browse with MIL at TKC admiring beautiful outfits but i really have no moods to celebrate it.. Miss my nyaie, bik oye, wak & yayi.. My raya this year is so meaning-less.. But, I'm so fortunate having my mum & my parents in law around to cherish the upcoming raya...My supporting daddy-in-law always gives me his piece of advice & of coz' it's useful.. Well, that's how i spent my day with hubby & PIL around me..*the day before my mum, siblings & 'lil niece were at mum's place for iftar*... That's how i spent my 2 weekends with my families around me.. Before the day ends, we sahur at Hilal Restaurant along Joo Chiat Rd courtesy of MIL & 'putu piring' courtesy of my dear Ayah..Happy 7th Wedding Anniversary to both of us...and thanks to Bik June for the nice tudung that i'm wearing...

Alhamdulliah, these dates come once in our lifetime & insya'Allah we will be blessed.. Today, seven years ago was our wedding day. A lot of steps already created in our path of life. Marriage being a roller coaster for both of us.. Let’s through our journey with love. Happy & sad is a part of life, it’s just make our life colorful with lots of loves, sharing, cares, joy & laughter..

May the love that we share last for the lifetime through.. How true my feelings were I found out to be .. The best thing in my life was, when you married me. Thank you my Loving Husband. For the years we share I know one thing for sure WE make a wonderful pair.

Family Gathering..

Last Sunday, 'tahlil' was held at mum's place & majority her siblings, nieces & nephews were there.. The 2 newly weds were there too & mum got it now to distribute here sincerity gifts to the newly wed couples. As for me, distributing some little souvenirs which i bought from Korea & a center piece of Korean sweet delicacies.. Glorious foods, dishes & pastries.. As usual Bik June dishes & cakes, perhaps not forgetting Aunty Milah's yummylicious eclairs.. This time round all the food tastes good *maybe i'm hungry*... Thanks for coming aunties, uncles & cousins..

Mum has been preparing dishes as early as the sun rise.. And 'tahlil' begun after all her siblings gather with my Wak Din leads the Yassin... Remembering the lost ones, i do really miss them sometimes.. I always bear in mind that family is important... But i feel sad if people out there are being too selfish & can't even spent an hour or two with family... *sickening people*!!! Or maybe they just being choosey!! No point our government launch Family Matters campaign..

Well today strike our first Ramadan & Alhamdulillah i just break fast a plate of seafood fried rice which i cook it just now.. It's taste a bit 'peppery' hahahaaaa... Anyway i would like to wish Selamat Menaymbut Bulan Suci, Bulan Ramadhan to all...

The heat of NDP oredy felt when we were in the train.. Acie parked her car @ her workplace, Mt. Elizabeth hospital & we took MRT ride to City Hall.. Upon arrived @ the City Hall station, there were crowds of REDs headed to the 'Party Area' such as Marina Bay, Padang, Esplanade & Merlion..

Weather was actually very hot when we reached the Padang & drizzling when the parade started.. Since it's Inshirah & Udin virgin trip to NDP, we intend to stay till the finale (fireworks).

Doing my "spring cleaning" on my pc & this is wat i found, my beloved nyai's (granny) foto sitting down on her wheelchair enjoying the breeze.. Nyai, we truly miss u, miss u so much... My heart ache when i saw a glimpse of ur foto anywhere... After her 100 days, i dreamt of her, dream of her smiling at me & she handed a white handkerchief to me. Maybe, i'm crying too much... I guess, she's fine up there..

Or perhaps, tis might be her last goodbye waves to all of us here on the earth.. Goodbyes without warning, goodbyes with lots of love & goodbyes of happiness to join her mum (my nyai).. After 21 days, Bik Oye accompanied my nyai.. Both passed away peacefully on holy blessing Fridays.. Al-Fatehah to Allahyarhamah Hjh Sawaliah Bte Ahmad Karni & Allahyarhamah Norimah Bte Hj Abdul Samad..

All i can do is to pray, doa & Al-Fatehah for them... miss u both loads....

Seriously, it's not an easy month for me.. Loads of unfinished works have to be done. And currently, i'm trying to figure-out my cousins wedding cards which i volunteer to 'sponsor'.. Have been surveying most of the shops along Geylang, Beach Road & People's Park for 'cheap & good' cards but too bad it's seem to be expensive. As discuss with my uncle & his wife, they intend to invite approximately 500 guests & tat's make 250 or lesser cards.. Some printing cards shops charge slightly expensive coz' they only can print it in a massive quantity.. sigh3x...

Ok lah, me & hubi 'joint venture' in fact i'm all alone try to custom-made the wedding cards for my cousins.. Alhamdulillah, things getting smoothly during the designing on my pc but during the printing, there's a big problem.... OMG, my printer buat hal..soooo fed-up.. Hubby ask around for repair our so called 5 in 1 printer but it's as good as i buy a new one... Anyway it's time to change my 6 years old printer.. Been hunting for new printer around S'pore but of coz' must be cheap-cheap...!! Finally, made-up my mind to make my way to Funan Center days back.. Brought a HP 3 in 1 printer worth $89.00 & super lazy me flagged a cab back home.. haaaahh 35% more had been added to the meter & i'm poorer than $35.30...

After a day, i bought the HP printer, hubby wanna do some groceries shopping at Giant Tamp & guess wat, the HP printer which i bought the day before selling at $85.00 at Giant Tampines... yupee it's $85.00 & believe it or not, me & hubby oso went there to look for one before i bought the new printer.. This is insane, man!!
Total i've paid more than $120.00 inclusive my taxi fare...*slapped my forehead*. Hubby was laughing at me all the way & i keep on nagging to him by saying

Me : alamak, hari tuu kita dtg tak ade, kan?, yg ade Epson aje, some more tak ade scanner & selling at $88.00

Hubby : itu pun bleh sold out for Epson...

Me : then mcm ane?, binngit tau i... baru few days back kita dtg tak ade!!!

Hubby : nasib kau lah Labu...

Me : u kol me Labu?

Hubby : ya laaahh....hahahahaaa..it's ok lah..dah beli..

When Aboy confirmed to me tat the chalet was approved early of tis year, i'm so delighted.. As for tis year, i have not go to any holiday or short trips, tis so called 'a getaway' is fine for me.. Last weekends, close families & frenz were invited to our Changi Haven..tadaaaa..

We intend to do it as simple as possible coz' mum's siblings still in deep sorrow after the lost of their love ones.. I always wanted to bake my own birthday cake & i succeed tis year!! I bake my own vanilla flavor birthday cupcakes wif strawberry frosted & topped wif fresh strawberries.. And i do it as a 'berkat'...

As i love finger foods, tis time round, i make it more sweet treats for everyone.. 'Sweet for my Sweet'... Fondue fountain wich every kids enjoy it even adults too...

Uncles have been doing great jobs handling the BBQ...

My life time soul mates.. They are great frenz & eheeem husband...
They accompany me till 'wee wee hours'..hehehe.. Thank you, girls!!

And they 'thorn' wif us...khe khe.. we slept like 'sardines'...

Hubby's off day fall on Thursday & Friday but since it's rain on the whole Thursday we intend to be at home lazing around.. For th past few days, i've been craving to eat waffles ice-cream but too bad we dun have anymore A&W around..*cheeatt*... Since it's raining we took a bus & drop at Tampines to satisfy my bloody craving!!

I'd remember my fren told me tat there's a stall at the Century Square level 3 sells nice & wonderful sweets treats.. All ice-creams, waffles & crepe..*yummmy* But it's not cheap, people i spent $7.90 for juz like tis...!! *eerrkkk*

No doubt, we enjoyed it & of coz' we will come back despite from the expensive price....

Cousin's Wedding...

I'm not writting much here.. After exactly 3 week my late grandma passed away, my aunty (Bik Oye) 'accompanied' her.. Bik Oye passed away peacefully on Blessing Friday 7th March 2008.. More emotional when dearest cousin's solemnization was on Bik Oye's funeral dayafter she was brought back from an autopsy... Family, relatives & friends were shocked to hear tis.. I can feel how my mum's siblings feel.. Less than a month, they facing 2 funerals, Masya'Allah.. May Allah place Arwah nyaie & Arwah Bik Oye in a safe place which created by HIM.. Amin..

After 2 weeks nayie had passed away, time to say goodbye to Noor.. Nyaie's maid whom help nyaie during her bedridden has done lots of hard works for the past 4 years.. An Indonesia - Javenese helper always be there whenever my late nyaie need anythings & ensure nyaie always well-fed & clean.. Alhamdulillah Noor has done her good jobs till my late nyaie's last breath.. For the past 2 weeks, Noor has been helping my mum clearing nyaie's house.. Together with them are my 3 other aunties, Bik June, Bik Oye & Wak Fau helping clearing nyaie's 'treasures' & donated to charities..

While waiting Noor being transfer to her new employer, me & family spent real quality time with her.. Brought her to the places which she wanting to go for long like Chinatown & Orchard Road.. Poor her for the past years she's been in S'pore, she has not been to tis places...

There's goes my 'lil niece, Inshirah, always pampered by her & they get along pretty well... We obviously gonna miss her.. But our relationship doesn't stop here, my mum's bestfren's daughter, whom is Noor new employer will starts tis Saturday. Tis time, Noor will be taking care of 2 babies in her new employer.. Noor always said in Indonesia "kak, saya sudah pasti akan rindu semua keluarga ini terutama nyaie"....in English "sis, i'm going to miss tis family esp my late grandma"....

Anyway Noor, we wish u good luck & a BIG thank you from our BIG family..Budi baik kamu tidak dapat kami sekeluarga balas... Semoga kamu di murahkan reseki & di kurniakan keluarga bahagia.. Amin..

Thursday nite, i couldn't sleep well.. strecthing here & there like a cat, toasting here & there like a toast bread but still i can't find any answer, why i can't sleep... Looking at hubby, he's oredy in the middle of his dream... It's oredy 5.30am, took a shower & ready for subuh. Since i can't sleep whole Thursday nite, i slept whole Friday noon..

When i woke-up, hubby oredy on his way to Friday prayer & me on my feet to do my houseworks.. Actually, me & family having a family affair late evening.. Went to Tampines Mall to grab a bite with hubby... By 6.00pm, i've received 2 missed calls & msg from mum... "Nyai tak bernafas, kol mak urgent"

I couldn't believe it & so i returned my mum's call to confirm how's things over at her place... The moment, mum answered the call, i can hear the background people sobbing & i knew it.. Me & hubby rushed to mum's place.. *Balme myself of being hungry if not we went straight to mum's place & managed to see nyaie last moments*... Can't help it, i cried emotionally till my cousins & hubby try to console me.. Mum, Bibik Oye (aunty) & Noor (nyaie's maid) were there during nyaie's last breath.. Mum said, nyaie was in tears, calm & smiling before her last breath.. There's a smile at arwah nyaie's look too.. Nyaie had lotsa of relatives & frenz.. On her funeral is the day where relatives & frenz from all over Malaysia & Singapore gathered to pay their last respect to Nyaie..

Valentine's Day today...actually, nothing much to celebrate, its juz another special day.. every year celebrate kind of boring for me... went breakfast wif hubby after my midnite shift & goodness we oredy saw 'ah beng' holding a bouquet of flowers waiting for cabs along the streets..*lol*

after breakfast as usual wash up & begin my journey to lala land...

Lately, i'm kind of feel tired easily & guess wat, i've put on weight.. standing at 161cm, my current weight is 75kg..*sigh sigh*. hubby wanted me to join back my amorefitness as i ever signed up to be their member..hmmppp tat's was "nong nong" ago, man... reading today strait times, i come across loads of slimming parlour offering good offer for slimming programme. after i did the survey, as much as i guess, the programme gonna make me broke one day or perhaps a Europe tour lor... forget about it lah.. i will think of sumthing else..*yickzz*

anyway tis CNY, i'm richer by $200.. 2 boses from my department gave us red packets.. yeaaahhh!!... thank u, boss... 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' ehhh...

GoodBye Ah Meng (1960-2008)

Ah Meng, Singapore Zoo’s most famous and well-loved orang utan, passed away on 8 February 2008 due to old age. Ah Meng was 48 years old. Ah Meng was born in Sumatra, Indonesia on 1960 & brought to Singapore at her age of 7 (1971). She then was confiscated from the Chinese family who had kept her as an illegal pet..

Ah Meng who had oredy met few famous Hollywood stars such as Michael Jackson, David Copperfield & Elizabeth Taylor. She was once an ambassador of the Singapore Tourism Board in early 90s..Ah Meng left behind 2 daughters (Medan & Sayang), 2 sons (Hsing Hsing & Satria) & 6 cute grandchildren. I remembered when I had breakfast with 'orang utan' & Ah Meng was the star but all left memory.. She surely will be missed, dearly.

Ah Meng will be reposed at Garden With A View from 9-11am on 10 February (Sunday) for members of the public wishing to visit her for the last time. May u rest in peace, Ah Meng..

Many congratulations to my dearest cousin Eleene Norman & Ano. Alhamdulillah, they declared a husband & wife yesterday, Friday, 1st Feb 2008.. It's also our dearest granny's birthday whom rite now seriously ill in the hospital. Eleena's solemnisation held at the ROMM & nite reception which attended closest friends & families. Eleene & Ano visited our granny at the hospital after their solemnisation & i believe it's a emotional scene.

Alvin & the Chipmunks ended our 2007 movies getaway('_') On NY's eve, me & hubby were like crazy finding tixs to A&C shows.. Intend to book on line but unfortunately hubby said it's gonna be expensive rather than we walk in the counter slightly cheaper due to his SAF Safra card.. Nearest to our home, Tampines Mall & Century Sq tixs were sold out & oni left first row are not occupied!! We then ride to Cineleisure at Orchard Rd & to Marina Sq.. It's sold out again..Goshh!!! Hubby wanna try at Scott but i guess it's gonna be sold out again. Finally i suggest tat why not we kill 2 birds with one stone, we catch show at the AMK hub..Shop & catch show at the same time.. . we were really dying & desperate for the show.... waalaaa, we are in the house!! Full house, people... !! arrgggghhhh...

Atmosphere in AMK hub Cathay cinema is kind of cozy & i can still smell their new carpet.. very comfortable & certainly we enjoyed being there... Anyway i'm so called happy & delightful when Prima Deli open back for business... In November, over 200 people fell ill with food poisoning. Officers from the Ministry of Health and the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) eventually pinpointed several ingredients including hazelnut paste and chocolate cream that were used in the cakes. I always tell mum & hubby tat they are being 'sabotage'.. It's not their fault, people.. No one tis to happen to anyone.. *poor them ;-(*.. Since their first step back to business, cleanliness is their main priority & it's apply to every food-vendors..

I once experienced it at Banquet somewhere in East, the lady was damn dirty. She handles foods by picking the spring onion using her bare naked fingers.. eeerrrggg!! And the lady is malay..*oohh sungguh memalukan.com*.. No more from tat stall, hokay!!

Well, i juz wanna highlight to someone & we heard it alot... Why must u be jealous of my family??!! We dun have anythings like urs.. Please dun influences people around u to hate my family & tat's really make us lost respect & trust on u.. Why must u dig all our 'bad recipes' with someone dun even know our family backgrounds!! This is too much... Why the words came out from ur mouth are all filthy about my family??!! Why must blame my famliy if anything goes wrong in ur family??!! U are being unfair to us.. We dun even talk bad about ur family & we never humiliated ur family backgrounds!! Ya, i know my siblings are not educated as urs..SO WHAT??!! We are happy & sincere with our life.... So please stop it if u happen to read tis!! If u people have brain to think please think it wisely.. We juz want peace & shut off ur big mouth if u dun know anythings!! There's no need for u to 'yaakettyy-yaaak' wif others, ok!!! Try to mess-up wif my family, u're dead!!

Yesterday was my virgin trip to make my way to the countdown party at Punggol East.. Not very far juz 5mins ride from my home.. Me & hubby eager to meet our very first Asian Idol, Hady Mirza.. He is everyone's favorite & neverless to say, everyone enjoyed the show.. Gosh such a charming chap he is!! And i simply love his calm look.. Me?? oohh i managed to shake hand wif him & it's my 2nd time..*hehehe i loike* mentel me!! The crowds really over-whelming & everyone was pushing here & there to capture a good sight of their own Idols..

Beside Hady, Johnathan Leong & Rui Ein were in the house too.. Each star sang 2 songs expect Hady Mirza.. Hady sang 3 songs & the last song, he duet wif our Punggol MP, Mr Michael Palmer.. hhmmpp both can sing very well.. All the 'gila-gila' girls were shouting & tat's incl me hahahaha... anyway enjoy the short clip of Hady Mirza duet with MP...

*Sigh Sigh Sigh*...nak cerita pun dah malas!! It's almost 7 years & i couldn't believe it's really happened!! And i hate being humilated by people.. But all these people should look themselve thru the mirror..

Allah maha Adil!!! Last 6 years i was married to a man named Shamsul & till now we are happy juz like dating couples.. There's a lot of objections when we intend to do our photo studio sessions before our solemnisations esp our parents.. After family decisions, my dad-in-law allowed us but no 'sexy poses' for both of us... So, end up my photographs tat we had taken 2 mths before our married turn out to a formal & casual poses... By listening to my mum, she doesn't want me to publish my wedding potrait during akad nikah coz' it's a blessing day for everybody & it's not really nice for me to show to families & relatives during the nikah.. *mendatangkan fitnah & maksiat*...uhhh stop it people, ya i know wat i did is wrong dari sisi agama Islam..

But now where is all ur agama?? Who ever my frenz, families & relatives humilated me last 6 years, NOW it's happen to u, maybe the person whom u loves.. Even to my frenz used to think negative about me, look at u now, u guys are taking photo studio even before ur wedding!!! Ashamed of U!! Perhaps my side & hubby's side objected us during photo studio sessions were taken before my solemnizations. And u know wat? I dun even use henna for my photo studio, it's look like MINAH KAHWIN-KAHWIN or shall i say dah 'ketara' nak kahwin. My mum said "nanti bila nikah seri smua hilang".. Anyway it's true like some people said tat is not my offical wedding photos... So what? So sesiapa yg baca blog ini terasa pedas, makcik ke, packcik ke, kakak2, abang2 atau sesiapa lah yg kutuk kita dulu2 ... huhhhh TENGOK CERMIN dulu sebelum mengata orang.. Allah nak balas dgn sekelip mata...Amin..

Anyway, me & hubby juz came back from our blissful holidays. We took leaves thinking to pay visit to our relatives & frenz but we ended booked a F&E holidays..*gatal us* We went to Disneyland, Hong Kong & we really had fun times over at the HKG. shopping was crazy for us... Weather there was cold but there's no rain for the whole 4 days we were there.

Anyway, my younger sister has been busy doing her renovations for her house.. Alhamdulillah rezeki Ramadhan, she was selected for a drama called 'Ubak Unik 2' which will telecast on ur tv by 18 November 2007 - Sunday.. Today, Friday morning another luck 'hits' her, she passed her Class 3... And it's her 1st attempt..not bad, Acie!! Rezeki Syawal for her & her family.. Well done, sis.. And we hope all the blessings will be on u... *so bila nak sent me to work*? heheeee

Tomorrow morning, dearest brother Aboy will be back from Taiwan after his long 3 weeks 'SAF vacation' heheee.. Welcome home, LTA Hairi...

Heya, for long i wanted to post my working trip to Vietnam.. Local people at the Vietnam prefer to call it Saigon.. Well i can say, i did enjoy my trip no doubt foods are rather difficult for me as a Muslim.. Lucky me, the hotel that i'm staying in, is the only Halal hotel in Saigon... It's called Amara Hotel.. Luxury hotel & excellent service..**thumbs up**.. Office hours over at Saigon is from 9.30am-1.00pm pheeewww how i wish S'pore having such benefits... So after office hours, me & colleagues will find ways to kill our time at Saigon... They don't have Mac Donalds, A&W, Starbucks, Coffee Bean or even nite lifes.. Kind of boring for us after dawn.. We end up in our rooms snacking & watch cartoons.. Or we did went for a effective, cheap & relax massage at the Amara Hotel itself.. Last Saturday, again mum is taking over Aboy's car.. Aboy is now at Brunei for the next 3 weeks.. Will be back some where early September & fly again to Taiwan first day of Eid- mubarak...hhmmppp

Aboy & other SAF platoons were honored to travel out thru Terminal 3. Anyway T3 is not yet open for public to preview, they were just doing testing.. Such a big airport & best part is Aboy is the pioneer & break the Guiness records as he is the first one to check-in.. Cameras from different angles snapping here & there of Aboy.. Over the weekends, we brought Inshirah to Down Town East for family excitements. As hubby was on MC due to his cough, he tagged along with us... We had a great bonding family time... Anyway, this 23rd August, i'm heading to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for the company's trip. Our off days fall on Tuesday. Went to Batam with my parent in laws after countless times they persuade us to tag along for a day trip. Haven't been there for ages & it's totally change a lots of things. We catch the early ferry & it's just nice when we reach there for our breakfast.. Things there are pretty cheap esp the foods. Our shopping spree located at the Batam Centre & it's next to ferry terminal..

Over at the Batam Centre, i was too crazy over their foods. In Singapore, you people have to Q for hours just grab the donuts but over at the Batam is Q free.!! no need to Q, that's surprised me. dun worry about their cleanliness, it's just like S'pore. clean & modern.. Surau is just next to the Batam Centre & i feel like i'm in S'pore. Back to my donuts, i bought 48 pcs or 4 dozens & it's worth $15.00..**wowww** really worth it.! hubby call me "Donuts Freak". Mum in law crazy over her Halal Bread Talk ..we bought loads of them & i 'tapau' for my family to enjoy it.

I'm totally crazy over their hypermarket which sells things that we can't get in here. Miniatures shampoo & shower foams. Bought loads of them too. Lunch was so perfect when we ordered seafoods & simply yummylicious. Mee Bakso, karedok & more of typical authentic Indonesian foods.

Late nite, we fetch Aboy at the airport. Finally after 2 months, he's back from the Mangelang Jawa, Indonesia. Happy Inshirah, eagerly waited at the airport too.. We ended our perfect day at Breeks Cafe T2 for supper.

Last Friday & Saturday i was on MCs.. And it's my 2nd time MC for the year. well i can say i'm quite a workerholic as my history with my previous company was countable for taking MC.. I hate to be sick. Now, today i'm down with flu again & help my nose is blocked !!! **hehehe**

Went to my regular family doctor & i've got all these drowsy medicines. haaaa i guess i have to take 2 more days MC as my flu is not recovering & my nose stuck with all the 'haze'.. nearly a week didn't visit my mum & inshirah.. see lah too busy until i'm sick.. Well, Aboy is coming back home & inshirah is soooo eager to welcome him back. Ok folks, i think will stop here coz' i'm still feel feverish..**aaaaaccchooo**..

Mum droves us to Wak Man's place & we headed back home before mahgrib...

Eelena was born on year 2001. During my wedding 6 years back, Eelena was doing her 'cukur rambut' together wif my walimatul urus.. Such a joy & it's a double celebrations for me & her. Now after 6 years, she celebrated her 6th Burstday on 070707-Saturday.. Nice date, huhhh..

As usual, my lil' niece, Inshirah sibok infront of the burstday cake as if it's her burstday... Orite that's all.. so sorry my time is so limited & have to rush back home. It's been more than a week Aboy left us for work but this time is the longest job assignment for him. Truly, mum a bit worried when Aboy posted to Jawa Tengah, Indonesia for nearly 2 months. Why?nowadays world is not in peace lah.. Aboy & his Captain will be back home early August . I believe Aboy is now home sick! Inshirah misses her Wak Boy very much till she wears Aboy's t-shirt as pyjamas. **hehehe** Alhamdulillah, Aboy calls daily to update his daily routines. I dun know why must my brother is the one chosen to Indonesia.... LTA Aboy & his Captain are well-treated there. The S'pore Embassy @ Jakarta & the army teams down there treat them like princes. Mum is taking over Aboy's precious car & we've gotta wash the car **huhahaha**.. We can't wait for Aboy to be home.

Hi.. it's been sometimes i left u guys wif my last blog. Ok i wanna post this long ago but i couldn't coz' i'm quite busy. Orite these are fotos when i went to Penang wif my parents-in-law. Trips are sponosred by my dad-in-law..Thank Q, daddy.. I would say, we really enjoyed ourselves esp when i'm doing double para-sailing together wif my Mormoc.. We witnessed Allah's creations together up in the air on the parachute..
Due to peak seasons, we stayed in Berjaya Hotel for 3 nites & travel by SQ.. Of coz' not forgetting the authentic all time Penang favourite nasi kandar @ Kassim Mustafa..it's yummy.. Weather was so cooling when we were at the Penang Hill & humid down there. aaahhh Penang 13.5km bridge is awesome.. a good memory, indeed..

A fren of mine celebrating her besday today 26th May but we had oredy hold a PRIVATE party last wednesday.. Trie Mayor, play host as she invited us to her abode for BIG lunch. She prepared Oxtail Soup & 'Karedok' & Sis Milah brought Roti Kirai plusss Chix curry.. **2 thumbs up** to my 2 kakak(s).. Obviously that luscious cupcakes are from me.. Trie simply love it !!. We spent our day laughing, joking, chit-chatting & gossips till late evening we headed back home.. Anyway would like to wish Trie Mayor a Happy Besday to u!!

Here, i would say, i envy my mum a lot. So lucky of my lil niece having all her lovely dresses sewn by my mum.. 'Baju kurung', dresses & name it & it's all sewn by her.. Evryone love it when Inshirah wears it. But sorry, it's not for sale. Mum had learn smocking & knitting over 30 years since she was 11 years old.. But too bad i'm not ready to learn it from her. But i can't imagine how she do it?? As she works normal office hours Mon-Fri, attending classes to adventure more sewing techniques & also take care of Inshirah...Wat's more, mine & my sista 'baju nikah' & engagement also sewn by her.. She also sews for gifts too..I'm really proud of you, mum!!

Ironically i was working today & totally i'm beat tired. Not very much rest & sleep while hubby snoring all nite long.. Earlier of this month, i've been posted to the Arrival branch. Serving flights evry half & hour make me pissed-off with certain passengers esp Singapork-rean..ok not going tell much about them .. Anyway the air-con around my branch area is freezing though.

Recently, i terminated my Pacific internet broadband. Kinda of slow & really f%$# customer services. Thank God my contract with them are over. Keep calling me to renew the contract but i would say NO to Pacific Internet!! Don't even have time to sit here at the PC and catch up with frenz to check my mails even though i'm home. Might as well cancel the account. I just depends on my workplace net to surf. Hopefully i can find the time to surf or blog-hop of my contacts.

I'm thinking to subscribe MIO from singtel. It's a comprehensive package i can say. Well maybe will do it on my off days. Come to think of it, i will 'celebrate' my 10years of joy in the airport... that's very long service huhhh??!! ok need to tuck in my chicken rendang with rice for lunch.. Bon Appetite & Great weekends!!

I've not been getting much rest the past few days. Obviously been drained out by work & my part-time classes... i had intentionally left my class early to get sometimes of my own & my hubby. ohhh my course getting complicated or maybe i'm being a stupid not to understand what had my teacher taught. Really feel kinda of tired today & headache.. Feel like I have the feverish feeling but my temperature actually normal... no no i'm NOT pregnant!

Lucky, hubby came along & fetch me from my late class. We then off to Vivocity again to get a glimpse of the Super Star Cruise. We really can't wait for the days that we had planned smoothly...wowww it's my 1st word shouted the moment i saw the BIG giant ship. a bit 'kiasu' hor. never had been in there. ok ok enuf about the big giant ship...

Been to Vivocity juz now & that's my dun know how many times so far. It's may not be that interesting to everyone, but i think it's really good enuf & what's more, i simply love the Daiso $2 store.. all are $2.00. I, then bought some Shiseido products @ Tangs when the promoter asked me to join Shiseido MakeOver or whatever lah.. By spending $50.00, i can have my look change & all my faces colours with Shiseido cosmetics.. What's more?, i received gifts from them, skincare & cosmetics.. no fotos at the moment as i'm beat tired but i promise will post it soon...

Hi juz came back from my so busy day.. Today, hubby off, so he fetch me from my LCCI Private Secretary Diploma course.. We drop-by to VivoCity coz I miss the 'cockles kway teow'. We then, off to the BIG store to buy hard drive for my notebook..too many folders, memories & fotos to store, so I hope tis hard drive will 'help' me without deleting any of them. We're excited about the new Sentosa Express. So hubby bought the tixs & we're like 'jakun' as if never been to Sentosa before.. It's really an Express, less than 5 mins, we're @ Sentosa Beach.. So lajuuu sangat..

Oh ya, we actually surveying for queen-size bed. My marital marriage bed dah eheemm roboh hahaha ;-D.. nearly 6 years, ok!! not too bad. We went to Courts, Harvey Norman, BIG store & many more semua we seem dun like it.. Lastly, we gave-up until, hubby ride thru PIE back home. I did remember another furniture shop, it's NOVA.. 8.30pm we reached NOVA, browse around when the sales person approached us. hmmm less than 1 hour we're settled wif the nice divine cozy custom-made queen-size bed.. but we have to wait for 2 weeks :-( .. Exactly 10pm, we reached home, shower & early-early hubby dah 'ngorok'..haiyaaa left me alone watching tv & enjoying my Old Chang Kee cuttlefish ball..ok then, need to brush my teeth & to my dream land.. Gd nite snoorrrr :-o

Been so busy for the whole week.. Today is my off day after few days on stand-by @ work.. So I've selected the convience date for me to attend tis home-based small group class @ Namly Gardens..Being the youngest student in the class, I'm pampered by all my 9 "mummy(s)".. Tis morning, I learned 3 types of baked goods such as; humming bird cupcake, chunky marmalade bread & pudding & Mexican wedding cookies.. All tis 'ang-moh' recipes are not easy, ok!! Lots of patient, dedications & passions needed when baking.. haaarr my dear teacher, Ms Karen looks cool & patient. All her recipes are yummy. Should learn more from her 'secret recipes'.. Ok dude, catch more of my fotos from the next week class...

Busy weekends for me.. My mini-cupcakes got odered from Mount Elizabeth Hospital of their post-X'mas & post new year parties. Exactly 12 noon, my bro drove us there as the hospital catered finger foods from my mum. Need to rush the foods for their lunch break.. Feedbacks from them, they love the spreads incl my cuppies ceeehh... After all the preparations for the party, we headed down to Adam Road to grab Nasi Lemak leaving my sista there as she's one of the Mt. E nurse.. Mum & bro felt hungry lah..Then off to Serene Centre for unique-ly flavour ice-creams. Love all of them esp the "teh tarik" & "bubur pulot hitam" flavours.. So yummy :-p

Back from Skool

It's my lil niece first day of playgroup & childcare.. Nearly 2 years, Inshirah was taken care by her babysitter next to her block since she was newborn.. After so much loves, cares, hugs & much more were given by tat wonderful family, sadly, Inshirah has to separate from her "2nd family" a week ago. The family had done a wonderful job althought it's juz a short while. My niece, sibok nak go skool whenever we walk pass tat block.. So yesterday, tis 22 mths year old baby really achieve her 1st resolution. My mum & both Inshirah's parents sent her off to skool in the morning juz opposite their block tat's only 50 mtrs away. Me juz drop by to kepo oso on my way to work. Yesterday, Inshirah didn't stay for the whole day as she juz need to warm-up wif her fellow classmates & caring teachers. While others took their nap after lunch, Inshirah went back home. Of coz she cried when she enters the skool but tat's only last for short a while. She enjoys herself until she refused to go back home.. Phewww she's seem to love tat place lah.. At the end of the day, Inshirah makes lots of frenz there @ the Happy Kidz Skool..

Wishing all bloggers Happie new Year & Eidul Adha..Juz came back home from my PIL's house. Countdown @ their home.. Earlier today oohhh i forgot yesterday morning headed down to my mum's place alone as hubby have to work due 2 short manpower.. After solat Eidul Adha, hubby cabot go 2 work.. Me bake few cuppies for my dear cousins. Looking @ my poor nyai, she's upset as some of her grandkidz didn't turn up to visit her esp during tis special ocassions.. But Allhamdulliah, majority turn-up yesterday. I know & i'm sure, she miss all her grandkidz. Can't visit my paternal grandparents as they are @ Muar, Malaysia.. Nyai still sad after the lost of her eldest daughter (my dearest aunty), but she's overjoyed when my niece, Inshirah & her grandkidz came to cheer her up.. ok need 2 sleep as 2mrw my family will going 2 the Jurong Bird Park.. yawwn gd nite..

My bro juz came back from 4 days trips to Bangkok wif his frenz.. He bought 4 us loads of cuties souvenirs. One of them tis Hello Kitty 'curtain' which i've oredy hang it. Simply love it lah.. I've got new curtain for Eidul Adha, i guess..

Alhamdulliah & finally the sun is out after a morning drizzling. But too bad lah, i'm working. If i'm @ home now, obviously i will do my laundry(s) errrrr all my baju tak kering due to rain & wet days.. Miss the SUN so much.. Since rainy days, i didn't on my air-con even when we're sleeping. Infact, we are wif sweater & socks..so cold @ nite (ehemm save my PUB bills). Hopefully during the weekends are sunny days..

So wat are u waiting for, hang-out ur laundry!!.. Look, my laundry are out to dry.. Loads of them so i decide to wash it @ the river.. Happy Holiday, evryone!!

Ya... i may sound stupid but last monday, my digital camera on 'hospitalized'..Could be less than a week or more.. Now she's @ Olympus service centre. I feel 'naked' without my camera..Oh i dun mind to forget my handphone but not my Olympus Digital Camera which i bought with my hard earned cash..She's my bestfriend..Hey camera won't tell lies, ok!!... She 'lost' her memories hahaha.. Luckily still under warranty, hopefully no cash involved.. haiyaaa bila time 'bonus' ade aje benda nak rosak.. Pay oredi out..Alhamdulliah soooo happy with my payout.. Should pamper myself lah..

hi it's had been pouring heavily during our BBQ & camping @ Pasir Ris Beach..Despite drizzling, tat's doesn't mean we're not BBQ-ing.. hey when the rains stop, we start to set-up fire.. My dear uncle is doing all the marinated such as chicken wings, prawns, fishes, beef & satay... Perfect taste, Paman..Love ur chix wings!! hot, spicy & sweet.. 5 sets of 8 men standing tents were set-up as majority spending their nite under the stars eeeerrr no under the midnite rain hahaha..Despite raining heavily, evryone of us enjoy ourselves. Me go back & return in the morning to join them for a morning swim.. few shots were taken as nak jaga camera takut kena air hujan matlumlah it's not waterproof!! not forgettting beach volleyball under the morning rain, so shioookkk.. everone join in the game, not forgetting Jestina, my cuzzy Nurul's rabbit..smua basah kuyup dahhh. Miss all tis moments of family activities.. Thanks alot to my Paman-paman & Bik June to organise such a wonderful family wetty activity..

Lately, I'm very buzy wif my working schdules..lots of things need to be settled by end of tis December... Still remember when i applied for the new Premier @ Tampines? Ya, bukan rezeki kita lah..We dun get choosen from the balloting.. There's good & bad if we take-up tat apartment...2 weeks ago we received letter from SIM LIAN company saying we are not successful candidates. not satisfied?? we check thru the net by entering our NRIC but still we are not choosen.. Hubby said " tak payah pindah, our area pun quite conviences unlike 4 years ago kedai pun tak da ".. we are lucky coz I juz board one direct bus & it's bring me to my work place (airport)..wat's more same bus can alight @ IKEA, Courts & Giant..best kan??!! the bus I meant, juz next to my block..

Ok back to Premier story, 2 days ago, me & hubby received SMS-es from SIM LIAN saying we are now successful candidates, eh betul ke?? hubby call them up & seek help whether are we selected or not.. Ya, we are selected but first comes first serve basis...The officer said bring all documents & chq for 5% payment cash..We happily bring all the documents & chq but unfortunately oni ground floor units availables seh... Hubby rejected coz we wanted higher levels & they oni want malay & others..Cina sorie dah full...

Malays dah banyak mintak higher floors..ok lah we juz stick to Punggol 21..

My "ugly" cupcakes

I still remember when my secondary skool daze, learning home economics 13 years back. My very 1st recipe was butter muffins or cupcakes.. I'm not really a "cake type" person. I don't eat cakes neither bake cakes.. That's why i envy some people like my mum in law & my mum love making & eating cakes.. Malay cakes hmmm?? I oso dun eat it too.. So yesterday morning morning i dah cabot pergi Compasspoint Cold Storage to search all the ingredients as yesterday is my cousin, Izz birthday party @ Pasir Ris banglow & i really wanted to make tis cupcakes for him.... Luckily my hubby is wif me as he always helping up his mum baking cakes.. Hubby, i didn't know tat u're an expert too..hehehehee..

I'm too eager to bake & i have to flash back what have i bake 13 years back.. Phewww!! Easy all in, butter, flour, unsweetened cocoa, sugar & errr i did modified the recipe to make it more delicious.. The frosting, i copy from the website. Matlumlah tak pernah buat kek hahaha.. Hubby walk-in & out to kitchen to see how's things going on between me & the cupcakes haha.. He will laugh & giggle whenever he walks in the kitchen as he knows i dun have patient in baking.. Finally, i happily manage to bake my 23pcs of luscious cupcakes.. Hubby simply love it so as the guests @ the party last nite.. Look @ my cupcakes, ugly rite? hehehe :-p ya i'm not an expert..

40 days had over yesterday. It's my wak's 40 days after she left us since 7th Oct 2006 (kenduri & tahlil).. Uncles, aunties, closest frenz, cousins & relatives all gathered @ arwah wak's house.. Carparks are full of our relatives' cars & motobikes even @ the roadside next to arwah wak's ground floor flat (nasib baik tak kena summon).. My poor cousin, Viki has to watch out for 'org saman2' while others are inside doing the tahlil.. kesian dia hehehe.. Well all of us miss our wak esp. our nyaii.. Foods are ordered by my mum.. Simple spreads & thanks to evryone for their contributions such as cakes, pastries, fruits, cocktails & many more..Many thanks again for coming..

Grab tis pair of 'junkie' @ the Seiyu Bugis Junction few days back. Watelse i can say, it's cheap, comfy & very light... I bought exactly the same patern when I'm in Hong Kong worth HKD380, it's make my feet bruises all over & end-up in store room still in good condition..I paid tis pair for less than $15.00..3 colours available pink, black & brown.. I shall grab the pink soon!!!
